Entertainment: private beach, Fitness Room , Paddle Tennis Table, Playground, Pool, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Squash, Tennis Court, Water Skiing, Windsurfing

There are many (usually 4-rooms buildings) where you will be accomodated in large and sunny rooms with balcony. The resort offers several swimming pools and bars where you can use your all inclusive privileges. The only important negative point is the beach: there are lots of stones in the water, which make it very uncomfortable to enter the sea.

Price: from 515 Eur/week with all inclusive (price for 2 persons)

Africa: 11 days Safari and beach holiday Zanzibar

This itinerary has wildlife action, cultural encounters and of course romance.

After resting in Arusha (the gateway to Tanzania’s safaris), enjoying the fresh air and green surroundings, you begin the programme at Lake Manyara – famous for hippos and water birds which can be found in abundance, as well as many other forest species.  You then continue into the Ngorongoro Conservation area, where you take an amazing game drive at the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, the “Eden of Africa” and surely a wonder of the world! The program finishes at Tarangire, famous for bird spotting, and the huge herds of free-ranging elephants found here. You then spend several blissful days relaxing on the beach in Zanzibar, enjoying the blue sky, clear waters and balmy sea breeze.

DAY 01                  Arrival

You will be met at the International Airport (preferably Kilimanjaro/Arusha) by your driver/guide and escorted to the Olasiti Lodge (a charming lodge set in nice green gardens, in a quiet part of Arusha).

DAY 02                  Lake Manyara
After breakfast we depart for Lake Manyara. The driver/guide will pick you up at 8am, then you’ll drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.  This beautiful park, with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, takes its name from the Maasai word for euphorbia tirucalli, a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an acacia tortilis tree.  Birdlife is also abundant here, with flamingos, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species.
Overnight at Bougainvillea Lodge at Karatu All meals included

DAY 03 Ngorongoro
Today you will head into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.  On the way you will visit a traditional Masai Village, where you can take photos, ask questions, and gain insight into their semi-nomadic way of life.  Upon arrival you will take a guided walk at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, accompanied by a ranger or Masai guide.  You will spot birds and monkeys, and really experiences the sights, sounds and scents of this amazing part of Tanzania on foot.

Overnight at Rhino Lodge All meals included

DAY 04 Ngorongoro
In the morning after breakfast, descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world.  It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species.  With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during just one game drive.

Overnight at Rhino Lodge All meals included

DAY 05 Tarangire
Today you will continue on to Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for large and thriving elephant population.  Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area.  There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant.
